In 2024, 1.25 million drones were handed over to AFU, Zelenskyy’s task fulfilled - State Special Communications Service
In 2024, more than 1.25 million domestically produced drones were transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

" In 2024, the State Special Communications Service handed over more than 1.25 million drones of various types of domestic production for the needs of the security and defense forces. At the same time, contracts for the supply of more than 1.35 million Ukrainian unmanned systems were signed last year. Thus, the Service has fulfilled the task of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy," the statement said.
The most popular among the transferred drones were FPV drones, which "help to effectively destroy enemy manpower and equipment."
"This year, the State Special Communications Service continues to make purchases and, together with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has a new task from the President - 30 thousand long-range unmanned vehicles.
The State Special Communications Service is implementing a project to purchase unmanned systems in close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and other components of the security and defense sector. They determine the type and number, as well as other parameters of the drones they need. Based on these requests, the State Special Communications Service makes purchases and transfers of unmanned systems," the SSCS added.
