Recent attack on Ust-Luga terminal was carried out by SSU drones: new details of special operation emerge. VIDEO
The attack on Russia's largest commercial port, Ust-Luga, in the Leningrad region, was the work of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Censor.NET reports this with reference to sources in the SSU.
According to sources, on 4 January, long-range SSU drones travelled over 900 kilometres, flew almost to St Petersburg and successfully hit the target.
The video shows one of the drones hitting tanks with gas condensate.
As a result of the impact, one tank was severely damaged and three neighbouring tanks were shattered by explosive debris.
Experts say that the repair will take at least a month, subject to availability of materials, and will definitely lead to disruptions in the terminal's operation.
"The Ust-Luga terminal is a major logistics hub in the Baltic Sea. Through it, Russia sells oil and gas with the help of the 'shadow fleet'. Drone sanctions from the SSU are reducing the flow of foreign currency, which Russia needs to wage war. We declare the cotton season of 2015 open!" an informed source in the SSU said.
As a reminder, on 4 January 2025, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack the largest Russian seaport in the Leningrad region, Ust-Luga.
