On Thursday, January 9, a day of mourning was declared in the Zaporizhzhia region in connection with the air strikes that Russia carried out in Zaporizhzhia on January 8.

This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.

"For the third time in the last month, a day of mourning will be declared in Zaporizhzhia region due to enemy attacks," the official wrote.

He added that after the Russian attack, at least 80 people have already turned to hospitals for help.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, January 8, the Russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia's industrial infrastructure with GABs, killing 13 people and injuring many others.
