Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia: number of wounded increased to 116, 11 in critical condition

Shelling of Zaporizhzhia on January 8: number of victims increased

The total number of wounded as a result of the Russian air strike on Zaporizhzhia on Wednesday, January 8, increased to 116 people.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.

Currently, 66 people remain in medical institutions of the regional center. Of these, 11 people are in critical condition in intensive care units.

Other wounded are hospitalized in moderate condition.

Among the injuries diagnosed to the victims are traumatic amputations of limbs, penetrating and shrapnel wounds, eye injuries and contusions.

Another 47 people, including a 13-year-old girl, are undergoing outpatient treatment.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, January 8, Russian invaders attacked the frontline village of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region, at least five times.

On the afternoon of January 8, the ruscists attacked the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. 13 people were killed.

In Zaporizhzhia, January 9 was declared a day of mourning for the victims.
