Selection of candidates for post of head of State Space Agency of Ukraine has begun, - Smetanin
The selection of candidates for the position of the head of the State Space Agency (SSAU) has started in Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"We are starting to select candidates for the head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine. To ensure that the process is fair and impartial, I have created a working group by the relevant Order. It includes representatives of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Economy, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and the National Agency for State Administration of Justice," Smetanin said.
Representatives of civil society organizations specializing in anti-corruption activities, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions, including the EU embassies and the EU Delegation to Ukraine, will also be involved.
It is worth noting that the SCAU has been operating without a permanent head for more than three years. The last head was Volodymyr Taftai, who was dismissed on December 20, 2022. Since then, the agency has been headed by acting heads.
