Exhausting defensive battles on outskirts of Velyka Novosilka - OSGT "Khortytsia"

Over the past day, 19 January 2025, the enemy conducted offensive actions in Vovchansk in the Kharkiv sector and in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zelenyi Hai and Lozova in the Kupyansk sector. The enemy attacks were repelled.

As noted, in the Lyman sector, enemy assault groups attacked our positions near Kopanky, Novolyubivka, and Yampolivka. The enemy was not successful, and the tactical situation was not allowed to deteriorate.
At the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the enemy attacked the positions of the defense forces in Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and in the areas of Krymske and Shcherbynivka. In the direction of Stupochki, the enemy attempted to use armored vehicles for fire support. As a result, one tank and one armored personnel carrier were damaged.
"In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defense forces are countering the enemy's attempts to use their numerical superiority and develop the offensive. The enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Slovianka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne. Some of our positions were destroyed as a result of the assault and fire. Measures are being taken to prevent the tactical situation from deteriorating," the statement said.
According to the Khortytsia OSGT, in the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions, conducted offensive actions to block the settlement of Velyka Novosilka. The enemy actively used armored vehicles to support the offensive.
"Two tanks and five armoured vehicles of the enemy were destroyed as a result of fire. Despite numerous losses in personnel, the enemy continues to assault on the outskirts of Velyka Novosilka. The soldiers of the Defence Forces are engaged in exhausting defensive battles," the Khortytsia Joint Forces Operation Centre emphasises.
The day before, DeepState reported that Russians had become more active in the east and north of Velyka Novosilka.
