Trump’s first executive orders after inauguration: death penalty and deployment of troops in US South - media

The 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, plans to sign a decree reinstating the death penalty at the federal level immediately after his inauguration and will also order the deployment of US troops on the southern border.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Fox News and Reuters, citing their own sources.
It is noted that Trump will sign 11 executive orders aimed at radically revising US border and immigration policy.
In addition, he will reverse the Biden-era parole policy and designate international cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
Fox News has obtained exclusive details of three executive orders that Trump will sign on border security and immigration after his inauguration.
In one order, Trump will immediately order the federal government to resume construction of the border wall, which was largely halted during the Biden administration.
The order also rescinds Biden-era parole policies, including the use of the CBP One program to parole migrants into the United States, as well as the Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan (CHNV) parole procedures, under which 30,000 people a month could fly in and be admitted on parole. Nearly 1.5 million migrants have been granted entry under the CHNV and CBP One programs.
The second executive order proposes to deploy U.S. troops to the border under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command and "instructs the military to prioritize our own borders and territorial integrity in the strategic planning of its operations."
The third executive order will designate international cartels and organizations as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). The FTO designation allows for targeted measures against members, including financial penalties.
Meanwhile, Reuters reports, citing a new White House official who said on condition of anonymity that Trump:
- Will sign an executive order declaring an energy emergency;
- Sign the inflation memorandum, which provides for a "full government response" to inflation;
- Sign an executive order stating that U.S. policy recognizes two genders: male and female;
- Ensure that official government documents, such as passports and visas, accurately indicate gender;
- Establish the Department of Public Administration Efficiency;
- Reinstate the death penalty in conditions of public safety;
- Will not have a specific oil price target;
- Sign an executive order to end federal government DEI programs;
- Halt refugee resettlement for at least four months;
- Cancel the mandate on electric vehicles;
- Designate criminal cartels as global terrorists.
