Putin doesn’t want to end war, Zelenskyy’s statement

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that Ukraine must be in a strong position to end the war.

He said this in an interview with Bloomberg, Censor.NET reports.

"We are ready to end the war, but we must be in a strong position. That's what I told President Trump. I told him frankly, you will see that when everyone around you understands that everyone wants to end the war, Putin will not want to end it. Therefore, it will not work without force," the president explained.

According to Zelenskyy, he has always spoken of "peace through strength".

"Because it concerns only Putin. He is sick with this idea - to destroy and occupy us. And this is very important to him," the head of state added.
