There should be no doubt: you must join AFU and fulfill your constitutional duty - Syrskyi
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that Ukrainian citizens should not hesitate to defend their country, but should fulfill their constitutional duty.
He said this in an interview with the BAZA project on Radio Bayraktar, Censor.NET reports.
"First of all, you should not hesitate to join the Armed Forces, you should fulfill your constitutional duty. We have such a flexible and democratic system that you can choose a unit and a specialty for which you have the ability or experience," the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
According to him, if a citizen voluntarily chooses a brigade that "has traditions" through recruiting centers or wants to become a UAV operator, he or she can do so.
"So there is no need to be afraid. You should go and win," added Syrskyi.
The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the US desire to lower the conscription age in Ukraine.
