Trump: I hope China will help us stop war between Ukraine and Russia
US President Donald Trump hopes that China will help end Russia's war against Ukraine.

Trump also said that Chinese President Xi Jinping had called him, and he hoped "for a fair relationship."
"All we want is equality, a level playing field. We don't need to have a great relationship. We just want them to be fair," Trump added.
He also mentioned China's possible role in ending Russia's war against Ukraine.
"We hope that China will help us stop the war between Ukraine and Russia. I mentioned this, by the way, during a phone call with President Xi. I hope we can join forces and put an end to it," he said.
