Fico on Zelenskyy: Inadequate interference in Slovakia’s internal affairs
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after he supported the January 24 protests in the country against the Slovak government's policies.
Fico said this on Slovak radio, as quoted by Aktuality, Censor.NET reports.
The day before, Zelenskyy, commenting on the protests in Slovakia, wrote: "Bratislava is not Moscow, Slovakia is Europe."
The Slovak prime minister replied that he was laughing when he saw this.
According to Fico, this is "inadequate interference in the internal affairs of the Slovak Republic" by Zelenskyy.
He added that he currently has no plans to meet with the Ukrainian president.
As reported, on Friday, January 24, tens of thousands of people protested in a number of cities in Slovakia, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fico.
