Series of explosions occurred in Ivano-Frankivsk region: enemy attacked critical infrastructure (updated)

On the night of 27 January, explosions occurred in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Suspilne.

It is noted that the explosions occurred three times during the night in the region.

The first explosions in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were reported at 2:06 a.m.

The Air Force reported a UAV in the centre of Ivano-Frankivsk region heading west and southwest.

"Suspilne" reported repeated explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk region at 2:19, 2:35, and 3:00.

The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, reported on the work of air defence in the city.

Following the announcement of a second air raid alert in Ivano-Frankivsk, at 4:38, 4:55, and 5:27, the sounds of explosions were reported in the city again.

The Air Force spotted the UAV in eastern Ivano-Frankivsk region on a westerly course.

At 5:34 a.m., "Suspilne" reported that explosions were heard in the city for the tenth time that night.

At 5:35 a.m., Martsinkiv again reported on the operation of air defenses.

According to Elektroavtotrans, public transport in Ivano-Frankivsk will run with delay.

"Only after the cancellation is announced, buses and trolleybuses will start their routes with a significant delay. Please be understanding of this situation," the statement said.

Later, Martsinkiv provided details of the enemy attack.

"The enemy launched a large-scale attack on the region and tried to hit the community. But thanks to the work of air defence, there was no damage to civilian property," he said in a statement.

The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, said that the Russians had attacked the critical infrastructure of the region and that a fire had broken out as a result of the attack.

"A fire was recorded. Relevant services are working at the scene," she said.
