Russia continues to focus its main efforts on the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Lyman and Kursk directions. During the week, there were 1080 combat engagements with the enemy.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by the spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Smian during a telethon.
In the Kharkiv sector, eight attacks took place near the settlement of Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk sector, there were 70 attacks near Stoianka, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Pishchane, Kutivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 105 attacks in the areas of Nova Horivka, Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Makiivka, Novosadove, Kopanky, Zarichne, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Nevske, Terny and in Serebrianskyi forestry.
In the Siversky sector, five attacks took place in the areas of Ivano-Darivka and Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 102 attacks. The enemy was most active in the areas of Bila Hora, Fedorivka, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, there were 101 attacks near Krymske, Shcherbynivka, Deliivka and Toretsk over the week.
"Pokrovsk direction was the hottest. There were 488 attacks there. The main ones took place near Zelene Pole, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Shevchenko, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Novotroitske, Novoandriivka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne," noted the spokesman.
In the Novopavlivske sector, the enemy attacked 55 times in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Novodarivka, Pryvilne and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhivsk sector, six attacks took place in the areas of Kamianske, Novoandriivka and Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, there were 16 attacks without results.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in Kursk region is continuing. Ukrainian defenders repelled 84 attacks over the past week. Last week, Russian terrorists launched 12 missile attacks on the positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure, firing 22 missiles, and 419 air strikes, including 647 guided bombs. The enemy made over 35,000 shellings, 852 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems," added Smian.
