Ukrenergo denies that it will cut off power next week due to lower temperatures

Power will not be cut off next week

Ukrenergo said that there is no threat of power outages next week.

This was reported by the company's press service, Censor.NET reports.

The day before, the media and Telegram channels spread information about such a threat, as forecasters predict a significant cold snap across Ukraine.

"NPC Ukrenergo refutes this information, as there are currently no forecasts for limiting electricity supply. The predicted level of temperature drop will not cause significant problems and will not necessitate the use of restrictive measures. The situation in the Ukrainian power system remains stable. Power engineers are working on all scenarios, including in case of a sharp drop in air temperature.

We would like to remind you that the only reason for the forced use of blackouts has always been and remains the destruction of the energy infrastructure as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks. Please trust only official sources of information and follow the recommendations of power engineers," they added.
