Trump: US contacted Russia regarding plane crash in Washington

US President Donald Trump said that the United States had been in contact with Russia regarding the plane crash in Washington.
He said this at a press conference dedicated to the tragedy, Censor.NET reports.
In response to a question about whether the United States had contact with Russia after the collision of a passenger plane with a military helicopter. Trump said that there was contact.
When asked by a journalist if he had spoken to Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, the US president gave an ambiguous answer: "I didn't, no. Not about that."
As a reminder, an American Airlines plane collided with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter during a landing approach at Washington airport. After the crash, the plane fell into the Potomac River.
