Zelenskyy and President of Guinea-Bissau Embalo discuss bilateral relations and food security
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with the leader of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló.
The head of state announced this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
Zelenskyy spoke about Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector, our defense operation in the Kursk region, and the participation of North Korean troops in the Russian invasion.
The President thanked Guinea-Bissau for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and its people.
"We also discussed bilateral relations and food security, in particular the humanitarian initiatives "Grain from Ukraine" and "Food from Ukraine". It is extremely important that this year brings a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and the world. We count on the support of Guinea-Bissau and other African countries in realizing these efforts," he added.
