AFU General Staff: 54 combat engagements took place on frontline, enemy focusing most attacks on Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 54 combat engagements have taken place at the front.

The situation in the north

Today, the areas of Velyka Pysarivka and Dmytrivka in the Sumy region and Mykhalchyna Sloboda in the Chernihiv region suffered from enemy artillery shelling from the territory of Russia.

Hostilities in the Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv direction today, Russian occupiers tried to storm the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk, our defenders repelled the Russian attack. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Udy and Saltyne.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our units five times near Zahryzove, Petropavlivka and Lozova, and two combat engagements are currently ongoing.

Hostilities in Donbas

Today, in the Lyman direction, the invading army made two attacks on Ukrainian positions near Yampolivka and Dibrova. The battle is currently underway.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, one firefight is still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, Russians tried to force our units out of their positions in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, where the Defense Forces repelled six attacks by Russian units, and one combat engagement is currently underway.

Since the beginning of the day in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has already made 22 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Kotlynove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Andriivka and Dachne. The defense forces are holding back the attack and have repelled 17 enemy attacks so far. The enemy's losses are being clarified.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks by the occupation army in the areas of Rozlyv and Zelenivka.

Hostilities in the south

In the Huliaipole direction, two invaders' attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders near Novosilka. The enemy also launched air strikes on Huliaipole, dropping six guided aerial bombs.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled one enemy attempt to advance towards Novodanylivka.

AFU operation in the Kursk region of the RF

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine invaders' attacks, and one battle is ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched 34 air strikes, dropping 52 guided aerial bombs, used free-flight aerial rockets and fired 225 artillery shells at our troops' positions and settlements.
