General Staff: 67 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk, Lyman and Toretsk directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 67 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
Border settlements continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, including Hremiach, Liskivshchyna, Bleshnia and Huta-Studenetska in the Chernihiv region; Bila Bereza, Popivka, Dmytrivka, Holubivka, Starykove, Shalyhyne, Oleksandrivka, Turia and Kucherivka in the Sumy region; and Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out seven assault operations near Zahryzove and Lozova. Four combat engagements ended, three are still ongoing. The enemy launched air strikes with unguided missiles at Zelenyi Hai and Pishchane.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked eight times near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka. One attack is currently ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops twice near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske, and one firefight is currently ongoing.
Defense forces repel two Russian attacks near Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk direction. The enemy attacked Kramatorsk with GABs (guided aerial bombs).
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the area of Toretsk. Four firefights are still ongoing. Nine guided aerial bombs were dropped by the enemy's aircraft on Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka and Oleksiivo-Druzhkivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 17 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 15 attacks, two firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified. The occupier carried out air strikes in the areas of Filiia and Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of our troops four times, trying to break through in the direction of Kostiantynopil, one firefight is still ongoing. The settlement of Rozlyv came under attack from GABs.
The situation in other directions
In the Huliaipole direction, enemy aircraft attacked Novodarivka and Huliaipole.
In the operational area in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 13 attacks by Russian invaders today, and five more attacks are ongoing. The enemy carried out 18 air strikes, dropping 25 GABs, and fired 262 times.
The situation did not change significantly in other frontline areas.
