Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited Russia for "consultations" with a Rosatom delegation on the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

He wrote about this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.

"I have completed interagency consultations in Moscow with the Russian delegation led by Rosatom CEO Likhachev," Grossi wrote.

He called the latest round of negotiations on the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which have been going on for three years, "more important than ever."

Grossi added that the International Atomic Energy Agency is "fully engaged to prevent a nuclear accident."
