Grossi visited Kyivska substation: Nuclear accident could occur as result of direct hit. PHOTOS
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited Kyivska power substation on Tuesday, 4 February.
He wrote about this in X, Censor.NET reports.
"I am at the Kyiv Power Substation, an important part of Ukraine's power system that is crucial for nuclear safety. A nuclear accident can happen as a result of a direct hit to the plant, as well as due to power outages. The IAEA is here to assess the impact, support and help prevent this risk," he stressed.
Grossi posted photos of himself visiting the substation with Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko and being shown what appear to be defences against Russian strikes.
