"Order" of National Police to strengthen mobilization and search for 18-year-olds in Odesa is fake of Russian propaganda – CCD

Russian propaganda has created and spread a fake document, allegedly issued by the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa region, which allegedly orders law enforcement officers to "intensify the search for persons subject to mobilization" in Odesa, including 18-year-olds.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).

The propagandists, in particular, included 18-year-old citizens and women with military education among the "wanted" persons.

"Moreover, according to the enemy, they plan to "search" for them in clubs, restaurants, bars, sports complexes and shopping centers. To enhance the effect of the fake news, the authors added another horror story - about mobile groups that will patrol the city and "permission" to use weapons and tear gas "in case of resistance," the CCD said in a statement.

Strengthening of mobilization in Odesa: CCD refutes Russian fake

The National Police of Ukraine emphasized that they had not issued any such orders.

In addition, the "document" contains stylistic errors and does not match the format of official orders. In addition, the number indicated in the "document" actually registered a completely different order - on the dismissal of a former employee, dated 31.10.2024.

"Such fakes are being spread as part of an information campaign to discredit the mobilization process in Ukraine," the CCD added.
