There were 116 combat engagements on frontline, enemy conducted most attacks in Pokrovsk and Kursk directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of this day, as of 10:00 p.m., 116 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders conducted 90 air strikes using 149 GABs (guided aerial bombs). In addition, the Russians engaged 961 kamikaze drones and fired more than four thousand rounds at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, our troops repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders nine times in the areas of Zahryzove and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders stopped all attacks.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, Russian proxies attacked Ukrainian positions 13 times since the beginning of the day near Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made 13 attempts to advance in the vicinity of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske, three of which are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three firefights were registered near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne. The fighting is not finished.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the defense forces ten times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near Toretsk. Ukrainian troops repelled all enemy attacks.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsk direction, Russians have tried to break through our defenses 27 times near the settlements of Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne. One battle is still ongoing.
The enemy is suffering significant losses - 250 occupants were neutralized in this direction today, 131 of them were killed. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 17 vehicles, four motorcycles and a BM-21 Grad MLRS, and damaged a vehicle, two artillery systems, a tank and an enemy multiple rocket launcher.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of our troops eight times, trying to break through in the direction of Kostiantynopil, two combat engagements are still ongoing.
The situation in other directions
In the operational area in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day, and another attack is ongoing.
The enemy has not conducted any active operations at the Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions since the beginning of the day.
