Zelenskyy: Preserving Ramstein format is important for Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the main result of the meeting in the Ramstein format was joint assistance to our country.
He said this at a press conference with the head of the European Investment Bank, Nadia Calvino, as quoted by Suspilne, Censor.NET reports.
"The main thing for us is to preserve the Ramstein format. We have preserved it, let's see if all countries will participate, by the way, these are not only European partners, but also partners of the United States of America. These are more than 50 countries. For us, the main result is that we will gather these countries and see how it will go during this period," he said.
Zelenskyy added that the main result of the Ramstein is "assistance, joint assistance to Ukraine...this is the number of packages with which partners will support Ukraine."
On the morning of February 6, the United Kingdom announced that it was convening a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense in the Ramstein format. It will take place on February 12 in Brussels on the eve of a meeting of NATO defense ministers.
