Pokrovsk sector remains hottest. 47 combat engagements out of 139 over last day - General Staff. MAP
The situation at the front remains tense. Over the last day, Ukrainian defence forces repelled enemy attacks in 8 sectors, and 139 combat engagements were registered. Most of them took place in Pokrovsk sector.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shellings of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched 100 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 140 GABs. In addition, it carried out almost six thousand shellings, including 200 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,853 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Prykolotne, Velykyi Burluk, Shevchenkove, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Bahatyr, Kostiantynopil, Dniproenerhia, Shevchenko, Sichneve, Huliaipole and Tavriiske.
Battles in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops in the area of Vovchansk four times.
Nine occupiers' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
Hostilities in the east
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 12 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka, Yampolivka, Terny and Kolodiazi.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions six times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Serebrianka and Hryhorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, eight combat engagements were recorded in the areas of Vasiukivka, Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 11 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 47 aggressor's assault and offensive actions in the areas of Baranivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked our positions near Zelenivka, Vremivka and Novosilka 12 times.
Situation in the south and north
No combat engagements were recorded in the Orikhivske, Huliaipillia and Prydniprovskyi sectors yesterday.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 27 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. The enemy made 450 artillery shellings, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems. Also, the invaders' aviation carried out 48 air strikes, dropping 67 GABs.
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors were observed.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit six areas of concentration of personnel, six artillery systems and four other important objects of the Russian invaders.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,390 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 13 tanks, 31 armoured combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, two MLRS, an air defence system, 132 operational and tactical UAVs, two missiles, 169 vehicles and a piece of special equipment.
