I will never accept agreement concluded by US and Russia without Ukraine’s participation - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he would not accept a peace agreement concluded by the United States and Russia without Ukraine's participation at the negotiating table.
The head of state said this in an interview with NBC News on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Censor.NET reports.
"I will never make any decisions between the United States and Russia on Ukraine, ever. This is a war in Ukraine, against us, and these are our human losses," the president emphasized.
According to Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump has made Putin afraid, and this may eventually stimulate serious peace talks between the two countries.
"Putin doesn't want peace. But I think he's really a little bit scared of President Trump, and I think the president (Trump - ed.) has this chance, and it's a strong one, and I think he can really push Putin to peace talks," the president said.
Zelenskyy also said that he would like Trump to prioritize Ukraine over Russia.
"I really wanted Ukraine to be a priority for Trump, not Russia. And I hope that we are more important. We are not as big as Russia, but I believe that strategically, Ukraine is more important for the United States because we are truly partners, allies, and share common values," the head of state said.
In addition, the president added that he trusts Trump because he is the president of the United States.
"I trust President Trump because he is the president of the United States, because your people voted for him, and I respect their choice," the Ukrainian leader said.
Earlier it was reported that representatives of the United States and Russia would meet in Saudi Arabia in the coming days to begin negotiations aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.
