Finnish President Stubb named three stages for achieving peace in Ukraine

During a speech at the Munich Security Conference, Finnish President Alexander Stubb gave an answer about the likelihood of achieving peace in Ukraine and voiced its stages.
According to Censor.NET, this was written by MP Oleksii Honcharenko from Munich.
According to Stubb, the stages of achieving peace in Ukraine
- The first stage is preliminary negotiations. At this stage, Ukraine should get rearmed and put maximum pressure on Russia. This includes sanctions and the use of frozen assets. All of this is necessary so that Ukraine can start negotiations from a position of strength.
- The second stage is a direct ceasefire agreement. It should take place along the contact line, after which international monitoring (not by peacekeepers, but by independent monitoring) is necessary. Next, the parameters of the peace process are discussed: prisoner exchange, return of abducted children, sanctions, etc. The main thing is to maintain the ceasefire. If Russia tries to attack again, Ukraine should automatically become a NATO member.
- The third stage is peace negotiations, which will take a long time. At this stage, more complex issues need to be resolved: territorial disputes, security guarantees, and compensation.
Earlier, Finnish President Stubb said that a truce between Ukraine and Russia is possible in 3-6 months.
