Ilyich Oil Refinery and two oil pumping stations in Russia were hit yesterday, - Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff
On 17 February 2025, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck at strategic facilities of the Russian military and fuel and energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
"As a result of a successful operation, the Ilyich oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia was hit. A large-scale fire was recorded at the facility," the report said.
The "Kropotkinskaya" and "Andreapol" oil pumping stations, which provided fuel transportation for the needs of the occupation forces, were also attacked.
The stations were put out of action, which will significantly complicate the logistics of fuel supplies for the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, on the night of 17 February, drones massively attacked the Krasnodar Krai. Later, the Centre for Countering Disinformation confirmed the attack on the Ilyich Oil Refinery.
