British Defense Secretary John Healey said that the world is now in a new era of threats, and this requires a new era of defense.
He said this during a speech at the Institute of Government in London, Censor.NET reports citing The Guardian.
He emphasized that the decisions that will be made in the coming weeks will determine "not only the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine, but also the security of the world for future generations."
"And the nature of the government is to respond to these challenges. But I think the test of leadership, of political leadership, is not only in managing the present, but also in reforming for the future. We are in a new era of threats, and this requires a new era of defense," the British Defense Minister added.
Earlier, British Defense Secretary John Healey announced the possibility of expanding the training mission for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the territory of Ukraine.
