Currently, Ukraine produces 30% of the weapons needed for the country's defense needs.
This was announced today at a press conference by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports citing ZN.ua.
He emphasized that this is "not enough, but it is a lot."
According to him, this is more than any other European country produces individually. The President noted that after the war is over, Russia will remain Ukraine's neighbor, so arms production will have to increase.
"As long as we are not in NATO, we will rely on ourselves and our partners, but we are the key. That is why we will increase our own production. Drones, electronic warfare systems, artillery - first of all," the President emphasized.
