Ukraine is in situation where it does not have many formats of security guarantees from partners, - Zelenskyy
Ukraine wants to end the war this year, but at the moment our country does not have many formats of security guarantees from its allies.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference.
"We, Ukraine, are in a situation where we do not have many formats of security guarantees for us. And no one is going to build something new, global, something space-based. Because we want security guarantees this year. Because we want to end the war this year. And if we are not creating a new world, then security guarantees are all on the table," he emphasized.
The President noted that, in general, when it comes to security guarantees, it is impossible to say that we should give something to Russia, because Ukraine does not want security guarantees from Russia.
"We have not yet reached the conditions regarding the Russians. When we talk about some kind of agreement, then we will talk about what the Russians owe because of this war. Now we are talking about quick decisions, about security guarantees. They depend solely on our partners. NATO or we said that our army is worth millions, its financing, weapons for this army, total air defense.
Protection that is not available to the Russians, not to the Europeans, but only to the Americans, to President Trump. Air defense protection. It comes exclusively from them. And a contingent from those countries that are willing and able to stand for a while in our cities, on our borders, on contact lines, etc." he added.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine should know from whom to expect security guarantees, who is able to give them and who will actually provide them.
