Trump says Russia can completely destroy Ukraine, but doesn’t want to

US President Donald Trump believes that Russia did not completely destroy Ukraine because it did not want to.

He said this at a briefing at his club in Palm Beach, Censor.NET reports.

"The cities are destroyed. They look like a fire. The Russians did not do this to Kyiv because they are probably saving missiles. But if they wanted to, it would be not 20% of the country, but 100% of the country," Trump said.

The US leader reiterated that if he were president, this would not have happened.

"I'm watching people die. These numbers have not been seen since World War II. Even if a person who has no negotiation skills had been in charge, this could have been resolved several years ago," the US president added.
