Kremlin dictator Putin's statement about Russian troops crossing the border into Ukraine in the Kursk region and launching a large-scale offensive is not true.
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, Censor.NET reports.
"The Center has verified this information with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which reported that there was in fact an attempt by a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) to infiltrate the territory of Ukraine. This SRG was eliminated.
Currently, there are no Russian troops in the territory of the Kursk region that are capable of carrying out a large-scale offensive on the territory of Ukraine," they said.
As a reminder, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that Russian troops allegedly crossed the border into Ukraine in the Kursk region.
