20 European countries and Canada agreed to continue supporting Ukraine amid Trump’s provocative and harsh statements - DW.

Against the backdrop of the changed US policy, Ukraine's other partners have stated that they will continue to help Kyiv in countering Russian aggression.

"We support Ukraine and we will fulfil all our responsibilities to ensure peace and security in Europe," French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday, 19 February, after an informal summit in Paris.
Macron stressed that Ukraine should always be involved in efforts to achieve peace and that its rights should be respected. In addition, he said, European security concerns must be taken into account. The peace must be sustainable and accompanied by reliable and credible guarantees, the French president said.
On 19 February, France held a second meeting to discuss Ukraine and European security. The meeting was attended by the heads of state and government of Lithuania, Finland, Cyprus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia and the Czech Republic via video link. In addition to Macron, the meeting was attended in person by Romania's interim president, Ilie Bolojan, and Luxembourg's prime minister, Luc Frieden.
