Shmyhal at meeting with Kellogg: Ready to work with US administration to achieve pragmatic and mutually beneficial results
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg.
He announced this in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"He spoke about the situation in the economy. Despite the war, we are developing defense production, paying social expenses, and every hryvnia of taxpayers goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The economy is running on war footing," Shmyhal wrote.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the daily Russian terror against Ukrainians, attacks on energy facilities and other crimes. "I emphasized that Ukraine, like no one else, wants peace. But it must be a just peace with reliable security guarantees and bringing the aggressor to justice. It is important that any negotiations on peace in Ukraine take place with the participation of Ukraine," emphasized Shmyhal.
"The Government is ready to work together with the US Administration to achieve pragmatic and mutually beneficial results for our countries. We count on the US leadership in ensuring a fair and reliable peace," the Ukrainian Prime Minister added.
