Enemy is redeploying additional units to Pokrovsk direction due to failed attempts to cut city off from supply routes – Khortytsia OSGT

Khortytsia OSGT on the situation near Pokrovsk.

Russian troops, despite having concentrated their main forces near Pokrovsk, cannot achieve their goals. Therefore, they are forced to constantly regroup.

According to Censor.NET, the spokesman for the Khortytsia OSGT(operational and strategic group of troops) Viktor Trehubov told this on the air of We-Ukraine TV channel.

"The regrouping is going on quite actively, but this is due to the fact that the enemy is not able to achieve its initial goals - they are not able to pass and cut off the Ukrainian supply of the city from the west. Reacting to this, the Russians are forced to somehow reorganize their forces, redeploy additional units and reorganize new offensives on the same small piece of land," said Trehubov.

In general, the operational situation in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSGT remains tense.

"Especially the Pokrovsk and Kupiansk directions. In a number of areas, the enemy is using the frozen ground and frozen water to redeploy its forces where it was a problem before. But in general, Ukrainian troops are giving an impressive rebuff, including in the areas that the enemy considers to be its priorities, including Pokrovsk. It has been concentrating all its forces and efforts here lately, but is facing counterattacks from the Defense Forces and has had some success," the spokesman summarized.

Earlier, the military from the Khortytsia OSGT reported that the enemy is trying to develop an offensive in the Pokrovsk direction. Yesterday, they conducted offensive actions in the areas of Promin, Serhiivka, Bohdanivka, Sribne, Andriivka and Zaporizhzhia. Fighting continues in Kotlyne, Nadiivka and Ulakly.
