Costa calls for special EU meeting: We are ready to increase our financial and military support to Ukraine
President of the European Council Antonio Costa is convening a special meeting of the European Union on 6 March 2025 to consider strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities.
He said this today during the "Support Ukraine" summit, Censor.NET reports.
"We all want this war to end, to end the suffering.... Our support is strong and unwavering. The EU is ready to do everything possible for its own security and to support Ukraine. That is why, at this moment, I am convening a special meeting of the European Council next week, on 6 March, to discuss support for Ukraine and strengthening Europe's defence. We are working closely with the European Commission. We are ready to increase our financial and military support to Ukraine," he said.
