UK to provide Ukraine with largest aid package of 4.5 billion pounds - Starmer
The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with the largest aid package in the amount of 4.5 billion sterling.
This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a speech at the Support Ukraine summit, Censor.NET reports.
"We must strengthen Ukraine even more to guarantee a lasting peace, not just a pause in this war. And we can do this in three ways. First, if we increase military aid to Ukraine. And the UK is doing this - it is providing 4.5 billion sterling in military aid, more than ever," he said.
In particular, the British Prime Minister announced the largest package of sanctions against Russia. According to him, he will also discuss this during the G7 meeting.
"I believe that the G7 countries should reduce oil prices and participate in all sanctions," the prime minister emphasized.
