Russians shelled 13 communities in Sumy region: 2 people killed, 6 wounded

On February 25, Russian troops fired 70 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 169 explosions were recorded.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

In particular, they were shelled:

  • Krasnopillia community: the enemy attacked with mortars (14 explosions), artillery (4 explosions), FPV drones (6 explosions), and dropped VOG from a UAV (4 explosions).
  • Yunakivka community: Russians attacked with MLRS (30 explosions), artillery (9 explosions), and attacked with GABs (6 explosions).
  • Khotyn community: the enemy attacked with artillery (6 explosions), GABs (2 explosions) and dropped VOG from a UAV (2 explosions), UAV attack (1 explosion).
  • Velyka Pysarivka community: there were VOG dropped from a UAV (4 explosions), mortar attacks (15 explosions), FPV drone attack (3 explosions), artillery shelling (3 explosions). As a result of the shelling, 1 civilian died and 2 civilians were injured.
  • Znob-Novhorod community: artillery shelling was recorded (9 explosions).
  • Myropillia community: mortar shelling (5 explosions), FPV drone attack (1 explosion), launch of GAB (1 explosion). As a result of the shelling, 3 civilians were injured, 6 private houses were damaged.
  • Shalyhyne community: FPV drone attack (4 explosions), mortar attack (2 explosions).
  • Bilopillia community: artillery shelling (6 explosions), dropping of VOG from a UAV (10 explosions).
  • Seredyna-Buda community: FPV drone attacks (2 explosions), mortar shelling (3 explosions), dropping of VOG from UAVs (3 explosions).
  • Putivl community: Russians dropped 3 mines on the community's territory.
  • Esman community: the enemy attacked with mortars (5 explosions).
  • Svesa community: there was an artillery attack (6 explosions).
  • Sumy community: the enemy attacked with 2 UAVs (1 explosion). One civilian died as a result of the shelling. One civilian was injured, 2 apartment buildings and 2 private cars were damaged.
