Trump on US involvement in rebuilding Ukraine: We have already spent 350 billion
During a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, US President Donald Trump called the question of participation in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine ‘strange’, as the United States has already spent significant funds on aid.

Thus, journalists asked Trump whether the United States would rebuild Ukraine, to which Trump replied: "It's a strange question to ask. We have already spent 350 billion".
At the same time, he added that Europe had allegedly spent only $100 billion to help Ukraine, and therefore ‘we deserve to get our money back’.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine is estimated at 500 billion euros.
