Enemy tried to break through defences in Kupiansk sector. Fighting continuing in Toretsk urban area - OSGT "Khortytsia"
Yesterday, on 24 February, the enemy did not stop attacking at the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the report of OSGT "Khortytsia".
Over the past day, in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces in Vovchansk: they suffered losses and retreated.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attempted to break through our defences in the areas of Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. In the direction of Nova Kruhliakivka, the occupiers attacked with armoured vehicles. Ukrainian troops destroyed one tank and two IFVs with return fire.
In the Lyman sector, the invaders tried to storm the positions of our troops near Katerynivka, Novoliubivka, Novyi and in Serebrianskyi forest. The tactical situation was not allowed to deteriorate.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors, fighting continued in the areas of Stupochky, Krymske and in the urban area of Toretsk. Enemy attacks were repelled.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers tried to use their numerical superiority and break through our defensive lines in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachenske, Andriivka and Ulakly. Near Troitske and Nadiivka, the enemy tried to deploy assault groups with vehicles. Ukrainian troops destroyed six occupiers' vehicles and are taking measures to prevent the tactical situation from deteriorating.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy was advancing in the direction of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. The occupiers used motor vehicles to deliver assault groups. The work of our artillery and UAV operators resulted in nine destroyed and damaged motorcycles. The search for and destruction of enemy manpower is ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defence, destroying the superior forces of the occupiers.
