88 combat engagements took place in frontline, enemy intensified activity in Huliaipole direction – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line is 88.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The enemy does not stop using artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the Russian Federation. The areas of Oleksandrivka, Bratenytsia, Starykove, Stara Huta, Ulanove, Slavhorod in the Sumy region; Karpovychi, Arkhypivka, Zarichchia in the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy assaults in the direction of Vovchansk and Kindrashivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked in the vicinity of Yampolivka, Torske and Kolodiazi. Since the beginning of the day, there have been four combat engagements in this area, which were successfully repelled by our defenders.
In the Siversk direction, in the area of Bilohorivka, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one enemy attack. The town of Siversk was hit by air strikes with guided bombs.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attempt to advance near Vasiukivka. The enemy launched air strikes with guided bombs on Kramatorsk.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops eight times in the areas of Krymske and Toretsk. Four firefights are still ongoing. Moreover, Kostiantynivka was attacked with guided bombs.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 35 times today in the areas of Berezivka, Myrne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Zaporizhzhia and Bohdanivka, ten engagements are still ongoing. The aggressor used 15 guided bombs on the settlements of Oleksiivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne and Zvirove.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our troops repelled five attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy became more active in the areas of Novopil and Charivne, our defenders successfully repelled four attacks on our positions, and two more engagements are still ongoing. At the same time, the enemy carried out air strikes on the settlements of Kamianske, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole and Novopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our defenders seven times in the areas of Stepove, Piatikhatky, Novoandriivka and Kamianske and launched an air strike with unguided missiles near Novoandriivka.
The enemy has not conducted any offensive actions in the Prydniprovske direction since the beginning of the day.
AFU operation in Kursk region of the Russian Federation
Four combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector today. In addition, the enemy conducted 12 air strikes, dropped 18 GABs (guided aerial bombs) and fired 191 artillery rounds, including 12 from MLRS.
