Civilians who have been held in captivity are entitled to mobilization deferral – Defense Ministry

Civilians who were held in Russian captivity are eligible for a mobilization deferral.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense, Censor.NET reports.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution titled 'On Amendments to Annex 5 to the Procedure for the Conscription of Citizens for Military Service during Mobilization in a Special Period.'"
This document aligns the provisions of the Law of Ukraine 'On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization' with the amendments adopted on November 20, 2024, the statement reads.
To obtain a mobilization deferral, individuals must provide an extract from the Unified Register of Persons Recognized as Deprived of Personal Liberty due to armed aggression against Ukraine.
