A recruitment centre for the Ukrainian army was opened in Boryspil, the fourth in Kyiv region and the 49th in Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
It is noted that the centre does not issue summonses.
You can contact it confidentially without disclosing your personal data. More than 10,000 vacancies are available across the Defence Forces. The most popular positions among citizens are those of UAV operators. The period of joining the military can last from a few days to 2 months.
"The network of recruitment centres is growing, and today we are present in all regions of Ukraine. This allows those interested in joining the Defence Forces to come, ask questions, and get the necessary information. Young people reach out to us to find out what the state is currently offering, where they can serve, what the conditions of service are, what vacancies are available, and how they can make the best use of their civilian expertise and skills," said Oleksii Bezhevets, the Ministry of Defence's recruitment commissioner.
In addition to Boryspil, such centres also provide services in Bila Tserkva, Bucha, and Brovary in the Kyiv region. In total, 48 Ukrainian Army recruitment centres have been opened across Ukraine in cooperation with local governments and local authorities. An additional centre operates online, serving all of Ukraine. Since mid-February last year, more than 42,000 people have reached out to the network, and almost 2,000 have enlisted in their desired positions within their chosen military units, the Ministry of Defence said."

Also today, a specialised exhibition "Recruiting: from Ancient Times to the Present", organised by the Department for Coordination and Guidance of Recruiting Centres of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in cooperation with the National Institute of Memory, has been launched in Kyiv's Kontraktova Square.
The exhibition tells how recruitment to the army took place on Ukrainian lands, from Rus' to the present day. A part of the exhibition is dedicated to the combat brigades that participate in the experiment of recruiting volunteers aged 18 to 24.
The exhibition will run until 31 March. Representatives of the Armed Forces recruitment centres and recruitment structures of military units will be working within its framework. Everyone will be able to get advice on joining the Defence Forces, the Ministry of Defence added.
