Costa to take part in leaders’ meeting on Ukraine’s security – European Council

President of the European Council Antonio Costa will take part in an informal meeting on the security of Ukraine and Europe on March 2 in London.
This was reported on Friday by the press service of the European Council, Censor.NET reports with reference to I-U.
"He (Costa - ed.) will join British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and other European leaders to build on the growing momentum in strengthening support for Ukraine against the backdrop of Russia's invasion and strengthening Europe's security and defense," the statement said.
This meeting will be a continuation of the talks that took place in Paris on February 17 and Kyiv on February 24. Its results will influence the discussions during a special meeting of the European Council on March 6, which Costa is convening.
As noted, after London, the President of the European Council will visit Moldova and Egypt to discuss European security, support for Ukraine and the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier it was reported that the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will take part in an informal meeting on Ukraine initiated by the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
