Norway will increase financial assistance to Ukraine, - Prime Minister Støre

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre intends to address the country's parliament in the near future to increase financial assistance to Ukraine.

"Today I can say that in the near future we will return to the parliament with a proposal to increase support (for Ukraine - Ed.)," Støre told Norwegian broadcaster NRK on Saturday.
It is also noted that at the end of last year, the Norwegian parliament agreed to allocate a total of NOK 35 billion (USD 3.12 billion) for military and civilian assistance to Ukraine in 2025 and a total of NOK 155 billion in the period from 2023 to 2030.
On Sunday, March 2, Støre will meet in London with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
