Tusk: US position on support for Ukraine ’not as clear’ as Poland’s

On Sunday, March 2, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reaffirmed his support for Ukraine and stressed the importance of Western unity before leaving for the summit of European leaders in London.
According to Censor.NET, his words were quoted by the RAP news agency.
Tusk emphasized that "in the Ukrainian-Russian war, Poland is on the side of Ukraine," and this is required not only by human decency but also by Polish national interest.
Today, this issue is complicated because, while taking the side of Ukraine in the interests of our national security, we, the Poles, are firmly in favor of the closest possible alliance of Poland, Europe and the entire West with the United States," he added.
The Polish Prime Minister also admitted that Washington's current position "is not so clear" on the war in Ukraine.
"We have to go beyond this dilemma, and Poland, with its reputation, which our allies and America say is a unique situation... our voice will be heard all the more," Tusk said.
