The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced new changes in the political settlement of the "Ukrainian crisis".

According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, this was stated at a briefing by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Lin Jian.

Thus, commenting on the meeting of European leaders on Ukraine on March 2 in London, Lin Jian said that "the Chinese side noted new changes in the political settlement of the ‘Ukrainian crisis’".

According to him, in the Ukrainian issue, China continues to insist on the need to adhere to four principles in resolving differences: respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, adherence to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, the use of peaceful methods to resolve differences, and consideration of the "legitimate security concerns" of each party.

"China hopes that the parties involved will find sustainable and long-term solutions through dialogue and consultation that take into account mutual concerns," Lin Jian added.
