Nauseda: Zelenskyy is making efforts for constructive dialogue with US

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy is making every effort to work very constructively with the US administration. He expressed hope that the US administration's attitude towards Ukraine would become more positive.

"I can confidently confirm that the Ukrainian side, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is making every effort to distance itself from the emotional things that happened at the end of last week and to work very constructively with the US administration," Nausėda said.
According to the politician, this is confirmed, in particular, by Zelenskyy's post on social media platform X, where he called what happened at his meeting with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office "unfortunate."
Finally, Nauseda expressed hope that the US administration's attitude toward Ukraine will change for the better.
"This is confirmed by very intensive contacts, not necessarily at the level of the president, but also with other representatives of the US administration, which gives me hope that the attitude of President Donald Trump's team towards Ukraine will change for the better in the near future," the Lithuanian leader said.
