Situation at Kursk and Toretsk directions is most intense – General Staff
As of 10 p.m., 96 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The situation at the Kursk and Toretsk directions is currently the most intense.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, the enemy launched one missile and 45 air strikes, using two missiles and dropping 59 GABs, engaged 939 kamikaze drones for destruction, and fired more than 3,500 times at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked twice, in the direction of Petro-Ivanivka and in the area of Vovchansk, one combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy tried to advance to our positions three times during the day near the settlements of Holubivka and Zahryzove.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked ten times in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka and Nove. Our soldiers stopped seven attacks, three more battles are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne and Predtechyne, and one engagement is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 19 offensives against Ukrainian troops' positions in the areas of Toretsk, Dachne and Dyliivka, and one combat engagement is still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attempted to break into our defense 16 times in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Bohdanivka, Kotliarivka and Andriivka, two combat engagements are currently underway. The occupiers launched air strikes with guided bombs in the areas of Zelene Pole, Pokrovsk, Chunyshyne and Oleksiivka. The occupants' losses in the sector amounted to 80 people killed and wounded, and an armored personnel carrier, eight vehicles, ten satellite communication terminals, a UAV control center and an automatic grenade launcher were destroyed.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks by the occupation army in the areas of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske, with one combat engagement still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of Vilne Pole, and also launched air strikes on the settlements of Huliaipole, Shevchenko, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Odradne and Vesele.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled four enemy attacks in the directions of Kamianske, Pavlivka and Lobkove. The areas around Piatikhatky came under air strikes.
AFU operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
Today, 27 combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector. The enemy carried out 16 GABs, dropped 23 drones, and fired 359 artillery shells at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities, including seven from multiple launch rocket systems.
