Macron’s ’nuclear rhetoric’ is threat to Russia - Lavrov

Lavrov on Macron’s nuclear rhetoric

French President Emmanuel Macron's nuclear rhetoric poses a threat to Russia.

As Censor.NET reports with reference to the Russian Interfax, this was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Of course, this is a threat to Russia. If he considers us a threat, convenes a meeting of the chiefs of general staff of European countries and Britain, says that it is necessary to use nuclear weapons, prepare for the use of nuclear weapons against Russia, this is, of course, a threat," he said.

At the same time, Lavrov recalled that Macron "periodically states that he will call Putin, will definitely talk to him": "Such opportunities exist, no one forbids it, on the contrary, the president constantly emphasizes his openness to contacts with all his colleagues."

Recall that earlier it was reported that French President Emmanuel Macron said that he had decided to start discussions with the leaders of the EU countries on the protection of the European continent with French nuclear weapons.
